As an accounting assistant at ACG, you’ll be highly detailed, organized, and adept in preparing financial documents. In this role you will put your knowledge of accounting best practices and government/state requirements regarding company finances use! Your success will help ACG continue to stay in compliance and ensure accuracy in all aspects of accounting principles.

To be seriously considered for this role, please have the following in regard to:
At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
Microsoft Office proficiency
Extremely proficient with Microsoft Excel
Detailed accounting knowledge
Knowledge of accounting procedures put forth by the government and state agencies
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to interact professionally with contracting representatives to reconcile monetary discrepancies
Ability to adhere to strict policies and procedures as mandated by the government
As ACG’s accounting assistant, you will work closely with the accounting manager to ensure accuracy and adherence to all necessary guidelines. Along your journey with ACG as our accounting assistant you can expect to:
Receive all receipts for payments made by ACG personnel
Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
Verify purchase orders against all purchases
Stay current on laws and government-issued policies for accounting functions
Ensure timesheets are accurate and received as appropriate
Assist with payroll tasks
Other accounting activities as needed
Must be able to pass a criminal background check and have a valid driver’s license.
