About the job
This position assists in the day to day functions of the accounting department. The accounting assistant is highly detailed and organized, abiding by strict policies and procedures put forth by the government, federal, and state agencies concerning company finances.
Receive all receipts for payments made by Access Communications Group personnel
Reconcile money coming in and going out
A/R (as needed) and A/P
Verify PO vs. all purchases
Stay current on laws and government-issued policies for accounting functions
Other activities as required by the company
Microsoft Office proficiency (word, ppt, excel)
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to interact professionally with contracting reps to reconcile monetary disparities
Accounting expertise required
Must have a valid drivers license.
