About the job
As an in-house auto mechanic, you'll be maintaining and repairing our company vehicles and other mechanical equipment. In this role you will put your in-depth mechanical knowledge to great use! Our in-house mechanics ensure maximum reliability and functionality for all of our equipment and vehicles. Your success will help ACG by making sure all of our teams have the appropriate working equipment for each and every job!

Requirements
To be seriously considered for this role, please have the following in regard to:
Experience:
At least 6 years of experience in a similar role
Experience with diesel and heavy trucks
Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals, etc.
Certification from a vocational school is* preferred*
Valid ASE certification is highly preferred
Skills:
Excellent knowledge of mechanical and electrical components of vehicles
Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment
Ability to prioritize required repairs and maintenance
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As ACG’s auto mechanic, you should be skilled in vehicle maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting. Along your journey with ACG as our auto mechanic you can expect to:
Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain, and upgrade
Conduct routine maintenance work ensuring vehicle functionality and longevity
Schedule future maintenance sessions
Repair or replace broken/dysfunctional parts
Provide accurate estimates for repair or maintenance job including cost, time, and effort
Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
Keep accurate logs on work and issues
Must be able to pass a criminal background check and have a valid driver’s license.
