To be seriously considered for this role, please have the following in regard to:

Experience:

• At least 6 years of experience in a similar role

• Experience with diesel and heavy trucks

• Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods

• Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals, etc.

• Certification from a vocational school is* preferred*

• Valid ASE certification is highly preferred

Skills:

• Excellent knowledge of mechanical and electrical components of vehicles

• Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment

• Ability to prioritize required repairs and maintenance

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As ACG’s auto mechanic, you should be skilled in vehicle maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting. Along your journey with ACG as our auto mechanic you can expect to:

• Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately

• Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain, and upgrade

• Conduct routine maintenance work ensuring vehicle functionality and longevity

• Schedule future maintenance sessions

• Repair or replace broken/dysfunctional parts

• Provide accurate estimates for repair or maintenance job including cost, time, and effort

• Maintain equipment and tools in good condition

• Keep accurate logs on work and issues

Must be able to pass a criminal background check and have a valid driver’s license.
