About the job
As an outside plant superintendent at ACG, you’ll be a key member of the management team and will set the tone for employees and subcontractors. In this role you will design, plan, and analyze outside plant facilities/networks in a key contributor role. Your success will help ACG continue to provide excellent services and maintain exceptional relationships with customers.

Requirements
To be seriously considered for this role, please have the following in regard to:
Experience:
At least 6 years of experience in a similar role
Experience in a leadership position
Experience with excavation machinery, aerial machinery, and underground machinery
Experience pulling large trailers
Experience managing quality management system documentation
Experience managing project flow, employees, and project timelines
Must have a full understanding for outside plant installation, maintenance, and technician activities
Experience in loop electronics engineering/ coordination and transmission equipment engineering
Skills:
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to keep track of multiple schedules and tasks
Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as accept direction on given assignments
Time management skills
Multitasking skills
Microsoft office proficiency
Supervisory skills
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As ACG’s outside plant superintendent, you will be in a unique position of being the main point of contact in the filed with the customer and the liaison for our project meetings. You will be accountable for the overall performance of the assigned project. Along your journey with ACG as our outside plant superintendent you can expect to:
Maintain operational authority over the project
Implement project specific policies, procedures, and objectives
Establish and maintain a critical path schedule
Monitor project performance and ensure that proposed schedules are adhered to
Ensure all work is of the highest quality and in accordance to customer specifications
Coach and train other employees
Monitor expenditures to ensure incurred costs are within authorized levels
Responsible for the coordination of construction budget and project management activities
Build and analyze project results according to department requirements
Must be able to pass a criminal background check and have a valid driver’s license.
