As a project manager at ACG, you’ll be able to easily adapt to completing different jobs, function well in a fast paced, high stress environment, and be able to communicate effectively. In this role you will bring your high-level skill set in cabling, installation of audio-visual equipment, access controls, and other IT related systems to our team! Your success will be evident when you are able to supervise other technicians while also being involved in the hands-on functions of the project scope!

Requirements

To be seriously considered for this role, please have the following in regard to:

Experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role

  • Experience in a leadership position

  • Proficiency in wiring, cabling, and IT functions

  • Experience with RJ 45, RJ 12, 66/100 blocks, racks, servers, and j-hooks

  • Experience in running, testing, and terminating CAT 5 and 6 cabling

  • Basic IT network topologies knowledge

Skills:

  • Ability to work with computers, diagnostic equipment, and complex machines

  • Troubleshooting capabilities

  • Time management skills

  • Multitasking skills

  • Microsoft office proficiency

  • Supervisory skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As ACG’s project manager, you will ensure all project scopes of work are completed as directed by the project manager. Along your journey with ACG as our project manager you can expect to:

  • Manage a small crew of technicians

  • Train technicians in simple cabling and wiring

  • Maintain safety procedures for each service call

  • Install fiber and copper wiring

  • Light construction work as needed

  • Install conduit

  • Make service calls as required

Must be able to pass a criminal background check and have a valid driver’s license.

Some travel may be required for this position.
