Scope of work:

Access Communications Group, LLC. partnered with El Paso Electric to deliver a comprehensive fiber optic and network infrastructure upgrade. This project included installing six new communication poles, running aerial fiber optic cabling, and integrating secure server racks across multiple facilities. Our team deployed high-capacity fiber strands—864, 244, 96, and 12-strand configurations—to connect critical buildings and systems, ensuring robust and scalable connectivity. The scope also involved boring under the zeolite pond to install a protected conduit pathway, relocating existing fiber for improved reliability, and setting up lockable 45U and 24U server racks with patch panels for organized network management. Completed under strict safety and quality standards, this $185K project strengthens El Paso Electric’s operational network and supports future technology growth.
