Scope of work:

Access Communications Group, LLC., partnered with Teinert Construction to deliver a modern Ubiquiti UniFi Enterprise Access Control system for the new additions at Newcastle High School and Elementary School. The project included installing access control on 24 door sets, integrating card readers, request-to-exit sensors, and door contacts to enhance campus security. Our team provided UniFi Enterprise Access Hubs, electric strikes, and plenum-rated cabling to ensure reliable connectivity and compliance with safety standards. The system features battery backup for up to four hours of power continuity during outages and includes training for staff on user enrollment and system management. Completed within 13 business days, this $74K project strengthens security, streamlines access management, and supports a safer learning environment for students and staff.
